A Central Saint Martins diákjai a londoni fashion weeken

Február 17-én hivatalosan is megkezdődött a 2012-2013-as őszi/téli fashion week női kollekcióinak bemutatása Londonban, amiről számtalan fórumon olvashattok. A legszerencsésebbek a helyszínről közvetítenek, úgyhogy információban nem lesz hiány. 

A már jól ismert tervezők mellett azonban az ifjú tehetségek is megjelenési lehetőséget kapnak, ezek közül is egy külön eseményen mutatkozhatnak be a Central Saint Martins MA-s diákjai közül néhányan. A tét igen nagy, hiszen olyan tervezők indultak el ezen az úton, mint Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen vagy Christopher Kane.

Összeszedtem a híres londoni divatiskola üdvöskéinek az általam legizgalmasabbnak vagy legszebbnek vélt darabjait. Hogy tetszik?

Petra Metzger a neve alapján magyar is lehetne, de tudtommal nem az. Expresszív kollekcióján láthatólag mély nyomott hagyott a Hussein Chalayan-nál szerzett tapasztalat.

Ugyan a női kollekciók ideje van, a St. Martins diákjainak itt van lehetősége bemutatni a férfikollekciók darabjait is. Craig Green cipekedő fiúit olyan szép színekbe öltöztette, hogy le sem bírom venni róluk a szemem.

Személyes kedvenceim Erna Einarsdóttir ruhái. Letisztult, minőségi darabok, amikről nehéz elhinni, hogy egy kezdő designer munkái.Univerzum és galaxis két dimenzióban.

Kenji Kawasumi férfikollekciója biztosan sokaknál kiveri a biztosítékot. Valószínűleg a modelleknél is, hiszen igen keservet arcot vágnak. Ennek ellenére a szín-, forma-, és anyag használat megérdemli  a nagy tapsot (ha egy lányon látom).

Luke Brooks elsőként vonultathatta fel kreációit és igen nagy sikert aratott, nem véletlen. A technikájában és ötleteiben igen változatos kollekció nem feledkezett meg a közelgő londoni olimpiáról sem.

White wagon inspired by artists

Az első érdemi bejegyzés egy fiktív project, amivel az Istituto Europeo di Design ösztöndíjára pályáztam. Az project nyert, de az ösztöndíj nem fedte a teljes tandíjat, ami támogatással együtt is hét számjegyű volt.

Description

My Reused Design project is about a performance and an exhibiton. There is one white wagon, which provides space for the exhibition, meanwhile the train goes from city to city around Europe and stops for few days in the cities. When the wagon starts its way, the interior is all white with some white furniture, frames and place for creating and taking in the new works.  At every destination an invited artist or group adds something and creating the exhibition. The artist’s task is not easy, because they have to improvise, depending on  the previous artists’ work. They have to use the rest of the place in the wagon  for  their creations.  All surfaces can be used in (or on) the wagon. The creative process and the exhibiton is open for the public. If the train arrives at the last railway station, the wagon just joins to another train and continues on its way to the next destination.

The exhibition is different in various ways from the conventional exhibitions.

It is reused, because the wagon used in a new conception and because the exhibition is becoming a new salon at each destination.

 It is unconventional, because the creative process and the look is not planned, contingent and the public can be a part of it.

It is more environmentally-sound, because The creations are transported by trains which run regularly anyway, furthermore the light is provided by the sunshine coming through the windows so electricity consumption is not necessary.

An interesting dialogue start among the nations makes it special.

The performance is unique and unrepeatable.
